The Origin of Gravity
A group of people who share interests and thoughts or even philosphies would by most be considered a social club. A collective on the other hand, is a group of people who probably not only share or are motivated by at least one common issue or interest but also work together on a specific project to achieve a common objective. Now, as soon as money is an issue this so called common objective tends to be financially orientated. This is the critical point when a collective will turn into an enterprise.
Center of Gravity Media Group has made the sober choice of remaining a collective. Creativity is the center of attention and has never been, nor will ever be, compromised. The core of this creative collective is the melting pot where ideas and visions comes to life and where nightmares are made flesh. This melting pot is the Thinktank.
Thinktank
Describing the Thinktank is actually the easiest thing in the world. Everything starts and stops with the thinktank. There's not really any specific roles. At the end of the day it might be aparent that one member of the Thinktank happened to spend more time working on one specific issue. An hierachial system would serve us like cancer to the bones.
There is only the Thinktank.
The wormhole never shuts
We believe very strongly that the days of corporate walls and creative secrets are over and that these tendencies are horribly outdated. From the very start it has been our main objective to collaborate with artists, enthusiasts, free-thinkers, friends, foes, fans and the devil himself in order to push the boundries of creative imagination. We honestly think that there are no limits and that these kinds of excersices will provide 1 + 1 = 3 results. This is not an oversized self-confidence speaking. We do not consider ourselves to be bold. We are simply dreamers.
Our developments are always an open forum for outsiders to interact. Consider it generous if you please. Working another way would simply be boring and back breaking. By this open-source kind of thinking we find that we've reached light years from where we would have been had we kept our ideas to ourselves. This wormhole will never close.
Horizon
There is no horizon for the organization. There is only the center. This is not just hippie mumbo jumbo bullshit but an organizational doctrine. There is no room for linear thinking within Center of Gravity Media Group. There is structure, time plans, budgets and "future" but there is only one way to sum it all up the present.
NOW is the time to create. NOW is the time to interact. NOW is the time to enjoy the pleasures and horrors of life… and death.
